Ariana Museum

Swiss Museum of Ceramics and Glass
Avenue de la Paix 10
1202 Genève
Tel. +41 (0)22 418 54 50
Web: mah.ville-ge.ch/

The Ariana Museum contains prestigious collections of ceramics and glass of the City of Geneva. It is the only museum in Switzerland, and among the most important in Europe, devoted entirely to kilncraft.

With over 20,000 objects, the collections illustrate seven centuries of ceramics and glass. All the main techniques are represented.

The Museum also displays modern and contemporary ceramic and glass art. Built by Gustave Revilliod (1817-1890), the Ariana Museum, with its neoclassical and neo-baroque features, immediately stands out from the local architectural style.
