Flea Market of Plainpalais

Flea Market of Plainpalais

As is always the case with flea markets, each item sold has its own story!
Geneva’s flea market is a meeting of the region’s bric-à-brac dealers where the most unlikely items as well as small marvels await a buyer. Stroll at your leisure and listen to the stories the wares tell!

Each Wednesday and Saturday, and every first Sunday of the month since 1970, the Plaine de Plainpalais teems with stalls and people. This is one of Switzerland’s largest flea markets. Bargain hunters and collectors find all sorts of items: bric-à-brac, books, clothes, jewellery, antiques and decorative items. Onlookers and collectors come across the most unbelievable objects, and who knows, somewhere, sometimes, a vintage item might be discovered.
